Note: The flatness of the plate and the straightness of the squeegee do not represent the wet film coating error, because the viscosity and particle diameter of the paint both affect the coating accuracy during the coating process. At the same time, the improvement of paint flowability and the percentage of wet-to-dry film formation will reduce machine error.

Selection of Coating Rods and Doctor Blades
1. For coating tests with high viscosity and high coating thickness, four-sided doctor blades or adjustable doctor blades are generally used.
2. For coating tests with low viscosity and thin coating thickness, rod coating is generally used.
