Working Principle

1.The hydrogen-oxygen bonds in water molecules absorb specific wavelengths of near-infrared light. At specific wavelengths, the energy of the near-infrared light reflected back is inversely proportional to the energy absorbed by the water molecules in the material. The moisture content of the material is calculated based on the amount of energy loss.

2.When water molecules are excited by specific energy bands, they become vibrationally excited. In the near-infrared spectrum, this band is particularly strong for water molecules, and it is easier for the instrument to emit, filter, and receive energy.

3.Near-infrared measurement technology is a non-destructive, non-contact real-time measurement technology

Functional Features

  • Non-contact measurement using infrared technology to determine moisture content by diffuse reflection.
  • Multi-channel setup: The LSD-MK series moisture meter has 50 channels, numbered from 1 to 50. Each channel number represents a set of channel parameters. Changing the channel number selects different parameters to adapt to the measurement of different types of materials with the same instrument.
  • Basically unaffected by external light changes, with automatic temperature compensation that is largely unaffected by external temperature variations, ensuring long-term stability.
  • Simple installation and convenient operation, with no impact on normal production during installation and commissioning. The LSD-MK series moisture meter uses pre-set calibration, and on-site calibration only requires adjusting the intercept (zero point) to complete the process.
