Transmission (overhead) line fault distance tester/Low current cable fault locator location
Product Introduction
It is used for single phase ground fault inspection of overhead high voltage line and accurate positioning of ground fault point. Accurately find the hidden ground fault of overhead lines such as single-phase metallic grounding, grounding by arc, grounding by transition resistance, porcelain bottle breakdown, lightning arrester breakdown and so on.
Transmission (overhead) line fault distance tester/Low current cable fault locator location
Product Features
1. The innovative integrated detection clamp integrates signal transmission and acquisition in one. The clamp structure is convenient for hanging, and the line fault test can be completed once hanging, without the operation of output signal and acquisition signal in two places.
2. The detection plier is equipped with a non-contact electroscope, which can send out sound and light alarm if the tested line is charged to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
3. It is especially suitable for faulty lines with cable branches. It has strong short-circuit capability and can detect direct short-circuit faults with ground resistance of 0Ω.
4. The output voltage is up to 8000V, with 8000V and 3000V options to meet different needs of users.
5. Large-capacity rechargeable battery can complete the inspection of the whole line after being fully charged.
6. The detection speed is fast, and the test results can be obtained after a few seconds.
7. 7 inch color screen fault pointing clear.
8. Voice broadcast function, indicating the direction of failure.
9. With Bluetooth communication, after installing the APP program, you can test and view the test results on the mobile phone, and use it as a handheld receiver.

Principle of test
After the overhead line is out of service, the low frequency high voltage signal is output by the host, and the AC voltage signal is applied to the line through the transmitter pliers on the left and right sides of the detection pliers, and the high sensitive current transformer in the middle of the detection pliers detects the current amplitude and phase on both sides. The current passes through the main machine, the detection clamp, flows through the fault line, enters the ground at the ground fault point and returns to the main machine through the ground pin. The output of the instrument is a high voltage AC signal, and the distributed capacitor and the fault grounding resistance form a RC parallel circuit. By detecting the voltage and current signals on both sides of the line and the phase between the voltage and current, the current load is judged to be capacitive or inductive load. Then by comparing the size of the pure resistive impedance on the left and right, the ground fault point is located on the left or right. Along the line, the detection clamp is connected to the line in turn, and the handheld receiver indicates the direction of the fault point, so as to gradually approach the fault point.
