Product Introduction:
Leakage marking test (electric marking index test) is a simulation test item stipulated by IEC60112, UL746A, GB/T4207, GB4706.1,ASTMD3638-92 and other standards.

Leakage marking test (electric marking index test) is to apply a voltage between platinum electrodes of specified size (2mm×5mm)on the surface of a solid insulating material and drop a specified volume of conductive liquid (0.1%NH 4CL) at a fixed height(35mm) at a fixed time (30s). It is used to evaluate the leakage resistance of solid insulating materials under the combined action of electric field and wet or polluted media, and to measure the relative electric staining index (CT1) and electric staining index (PT1).

CTI is to determine the insulation material compared to the electrical tracing index, which meets the DIN EN60112 standard. CTI simulates tracking the current between the insulation material through the dripping between the two electrodes. Commonly used insulation materials may be exposed to damp or dusty environments, which, if conducted, may cause heavy pressure or fire hazards.
This part complies with DIN EN 60112 / IEC 60112 / or VDE0303 Part 1. The test satisfies both the KA method (number of
drops/crawler channel depth) and the KA method (voltage up to the 50th drop). CTI and PTI values will be able to be determined.
The combination allows fine-tuning of test voltage, test current, switching time, drop size, and drop number.
