DKZ multihole ceramic pore diameter tester diameter tester for Ceramic channel
1.Product introduction
The DKZ porous ceramic pore diameter measuring instrument is suitable for measuring the maximum value of porous ceramic capillary pipes according to GB/T1967-1996 "Test Method for Porous Ceramic Pore Diameter". This instrument is mainly composed of three parts: a gas supply bottle, an electrical control box and a sample fixture. It adopts a precision low-range digital pressure measurement system to accurately measure the test pressure value. The test gas is compressed air or nitrogen; the sample clamp is suitable for samples with a cylindrical cross-section. The clamp ensures that the gas can only pass through the capillary pores of the sample without leaking from the edge of the sample during the test.

2. Working principle
This method uses the gas bubble pressure method and uses the principle of capillary action to measure the pore size of the membrane. The surface tension of the wetting agent affects the size of the measured pore size. It can be seen from the principle of capillary action that when a capillary with a radius r is wetted by a liquid A with a surface tension of σ, when the capillary liquid relative pressure P2 and the gas phase pressure P1 (liquid B is in the gas phase) reach static equilibrium, the relationship between P2 and P1 It can be described by the Laplace equation:
ΔP=P2-P1=2σcosθ/r whose plane θ is the contact angle (cylindrical contact angle is 0)
When the pressure difference at both ends of the hole is greater than 2σcosθ/r, the liquid in the capillary will be removed. The gas bubble pressure method is based on this principle to measure the pore size of porous materials. During the actual measurement process, a liquid with known surface tension is fully (saturated) wetted into the pores of the porous ceramic material (vacuumed or boiled), the pressure at one end of the porous material is fixed, and air or nitrogen is used to create a pressure difference at the other end. When the pressure difference reaches a certain value, the maximum pore diameter of the porous material is opened first, and the pore diameter is calculated according to the above formula.
