Introduction
1. water wetting tester is to install the sample on the sample holder and form a 45° Angle to the level, the sample center is located at the specified distance below the nozzle, and spray the sample with the specified volume of distilled water or deionized water. By comparing the appearance of the sample with the evaluation standard and the picture, the moisture grade of the sample is determined. It is suitable for the moisture test to determine the surface moisture resistance of all kinds of finished fabrics with or without water resistance and water resistance. This instrument is not suitable for measuring the water seepage rate of fabric, so it can not be used to predict the rain permeability of fabric.

The use of instruments Note:
The instrument should be placed on a solid foundation, there is no obvious vibration source around, and there is no corrosive medium and conductive dust around.
Use: 1, check whether the instrument parts fall off, loose, deformation phenomenon during transportation, and adjust.
2, the sample shall be humidified according to GB6529 for at least 24h, and the routine test or otherwise agreed can be carried out at room temperature or under actual conditions.
3. After humidification, clamp the sample with the sample holder and place it on the support, with the fabric facing upward during the test. Unless otherwise required, the warp of the sample should be parallel to the direction of the water flow.
4, the distilled water or deionized water, (temperature 20ºC±2ºC or 27ºC±2ºC) 250ml of water quickly and smoothly injected into the funnel, so that the spraying continues.
5. As soon as the water is stopped, the gripper is quickly taken away with the sample, so that the front of the fabric is roughly horizontal. Then gently tap a hard object twice (once at each of the two points opposite the frame in the radial direction), after tapping, the sample is still on the holder, according to the observed degree of sample wetting, using the closest description of the following text and picture to grade, do not evaluate the intermediate grade. Note: For dark fabrics, the picture standard is not very satisfactory and the rating is mainly based on the text description.
Water grade:
Level 1 - the coated surface is completely wet.
Grade 2 - Half of the wet surface is wet, which is usually the sum of small discontinuous wet areas.
Grade 3 - Wet the coated surface with only a small area of discontinuity Level 4 - the surface is not wet, but there are small droplets of water on the surface.
Grade 5 - There is no wetting of the surface and no small droplets of water on the surface.
