Principle:
Dust from the funnel mouth in a certain height free fall full of measuring cup; Measure the mass of dust per unit volume in the measuring cup under the condition of loose loading, namely, dust accumulation density.

Instrument structure
1, funnel (flow outlet diameter 12.7mm) : funnel made of stainless steel material, wherein the funnel taper is 60°±0.5
2, plugging rod: stainless steel material, used to prevent dust fall when the dust into the funnel.
3. Measuring cup: This device is equipped with a stainless steel measuring cup with a volume of 100ml, and the inner diameter of the measuring cup is Φ39mm.
4, scraper: stainless steel material, used to remove excess dust when the dust into the funnel.

Determination procedure
1. Test the weight of the empty stainless steel measuring cup m1
2. Plug the funnel with a clogging stick and pour some powder into the funnel
3. Unplug the plug rod and let the powder free downstairs until the powder completely overflows the measuring cup
4. Scrape the excess powder of the measuring cup with a stainless steel ruler, and then weigh the weight of the measuring cup and powder m2
5. According to the formula to calculate the powder packing density: ρ=(M2-M1)/V Note: V after correction of the volume of the cylinder, 100cm3.
Note: The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of dust mass obtained by three consecutive measurements should be less than 1g. The average value of the three measurements meeting the requirements should be taken as the measurement result.
