PRM8/20 80KA impulse current generator is used as the impact square wave current source for the flow capacity test of nonlinear resistor piece. It is mainly used to test the ability of nonlinear resistor piece to withstand the long-term impulse current under the condition of overvoltage. Intelligent test equipment specially designed for 8/20 impulse current test with maximum peak value of 15KA and below, stable performance and reliable quality. In line with IEC61000-4-5/IEC 61643-1, GB18802.1, UL1449, YD-T1235[1].2, TB/T 3074 and other related lightning surge test standards, can be used for MOV, TVS, GDT, SPD and other surge protection devices test.
