The powder tap density tester complies with multiple ISO and GB standards and the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia. It is simple to operate, has adjustable vibration frequency, can be loaded with three volumes of graduated cylinders, has low power consumption, and is stable and reliable for long-term operation.

The tap density or bulk density (called bulk density in some industrial fields) is defined as the mass of the sample divided by its volume, which includes the sample itself and the sample pores and the sample gap volume. Bulk density is necessary for characterizing catalysts, foaming materials, insulating materials, ceramics, powder metallurgy and other industrial products.
It is widely used in various metal powders and other rare metal powders, alloy powders or metal oxide powders, various non-metallic powders; other powders: such as soil, dyes, medicines, pesticides, abrasives, coatings, food additives, catalysts, cement, river sediment, etc.

The powder density tester consists of adjustable speed motor, vibration assembly, microcomputer and micro printer. The instrument has the characteristics of compact structure, firmness and simple operation.
Technical principle information:
The graduated cylinder filled with powder or particles is fixed on the mechanical vibration device. The vibration motor drives the mechanical vibration device to vibrate vertically up and down. The graduated cylinder filled with powder or particles vibrates rhythmically with the mechanical vibration device. As the number of vibrations increases, the powder or particles in the graduated cylinder are gradually vibrated. After the number of vibrations reaches the set number, the mechanical vibration device stops vibrating and the volume of the graduated cylinder is read. According to the definition of density: mass divided by volume, the density of the powder or particles after vibration is calculated.

Operation steps
The vibration mode of the tap density tester has two modes: Continue mode (keeps vibrating until the power is turned off) or Counter mode (stops vibrating after the set number of times). Please select before operation.
Continue mode operation method:
1. After turning the speed adjustment knob of the machine to the O position, connect the machine to the control box and then plug in the specified power supply.
2. Adjust the height scale to the predetermined filling height. Just loosen the height adjustment knob and rotate the filling base height, and then lock the adjustment knob with a tool.
3. Put the filling into the measuring cylinder and fix the measuring cylinder with a fixing ring.
4. Select the vibration mode continue.
5. Turn on the power button, rotate the speed knob to the appropriate speed, and press the start button to start the machine.
6. At this time, the machine will continue to vibrate until the power is turned off.
Counter mode operation method
1. After turning the speed adjustment knob of the machine to the O position, connect the machine to the counter control box and then plug in the specified power supply.
2. Adjust the height gauge to the preset filling height. Just loosen the height adjustment knob and rotate the filling base to lock the adjustment knob with a tool.
3. Put the filler into the measuring cylinder and fix the measuring cylinder with a fixing ring.
4. Select the vibration mode Counter.
4. Set the number of vibrations of the counter key (0-999 times), turn on the power button, rotate the speed knob to the appropriate speed, press the start button and the machine will start to work. At this time, the vibration number will automatically accumulate; when the automatic accumulation number reaches the preset number, the machine will automatically cut off the power and stop filling.
5. Turn the power off and on again to restart. At this time, the machine will start again. If you want to continue measuring, please repeat the above steps.
