   Natural bulk density meter(Variable funnel method)Design and production according to GB/T 16913.3-2008 Used for the determination of dust accumulation density.

   Widely used in various metal powder, non-metallic powder, chemical powder such as powder metallurgy powder, magnetic material powder, alloy powder, milk powder, abrasives, coatings, food additives to measure the accumulation density

   Principle: dust falls freely from the funnel to fill the measuring cup at a certain height;The mass of dust per unit volume in the measuring cup under the condition of loose loading was determined, that is, dust accumulation density.

Instrument structure:

1.funnel(Flow outlet diameter 12.7mm):The funnel is made of stainless steel with a taper of 60°±0.5

2.Blocking rod:Stainless steel material , Used to remove excess dust when the dust is loaded into the funnel.

3.measuring glass:The device is equipped with a stainless steel measuring cup with a volume of 100ml,measuring cup inner diameter for Φ 39 mm.

4.scraper blade:Stainless steel material ,Used to remove excess dust when the dust is loaded into the funnel.

The determination of steps:

1.Test the weight of the empty stainless steel measuring cup m1

2.Plug the funnel with a plug rod and weigh some powder into the funnel

3.Unplug the plug rod and leave the powder free downstairs until the powder completely overflows the measuring cup

4.Use a stainless steel ruler to smooth out the excess powder in the measuring cup, and then weigh the measuring cup and the weight of the powder m2

The packing density of the powder was calculated according to the formula:ρ=(M2-M1)/V Remark

Corrected volume of measuring cylinder,100cm3.Remark:The difference between the large and small values of dust mass obtained by three consecutive measurements should be less than 1g, and the average value of the three measurements meeting the requirements should be taken as the measurement result.
