1. Plasma surface treatment principle
The energy of the particles in the plasma is generally about several to ten electron volts, which is greater than the bonding energy of the polymer material (several to ten electron volts), and can completely break the chemical bonds of organic macromolecules to form new bonds: but it is far lower than the high-energy radioactive rays, which only involve the surface of the material and do not affect the performance of the matrix. Through low temperature plasma surface treatment, a variety of physical and chemical changes occur on the surface of the material, or produce etching and roughness, or form a dense cross-linked layer, or introduce polar groups containing oxygen, so that the hydrophilicity, cohesiveness, dyeability, biocompatibility and electrical properties are improved. In the appropriate process conditions to treat the surface of the material, the surface shape of the material has changed significantly, the introduction of a variety of oxygen containing groups, so that the surface from non-polar, difficult to stick to a certain polarity, easy to stick and hydrophilic, is conducive to bonding, coating and printing. The electrons continuously collide with the gas molecules during their movement, producing a large number of new electrons. When these electrons reach the anode, they gather on the surface of the medium to achieve surface modification.
