The product is designed based on the MURRAY bridge principle, which is suitable for the location of the breakdown point of various wire and cable after laying, the defect point without breakdown but low insulation resistance value, and the location of the outer sheath fault of high voltage cable. Of course, it can also be used to locate the defect points of various cables in the cable factory.
The equipment uses switching power supply to form a high voltage constant current source, uses high sensitivity amplifier and galvanometer to indicate balance, and forms a balance bridge with proportional potentiometer, and the whole is placed at high potential. The test wire is a specially designed double-core high-voltage rubber cable. The four-end resistance measurement method is adopted to avoid the error introduced by the lead resistance. The operating button on the panel is at the ground potential and the bridge is operated through the insulated rod. The high voltage constant current source and bridge are integrated in a portable industrial plastic case. Therefore, the equipment has high voltage, light weight, easy operation and safe use.
Function and application
The product has three functions:
1, DC voltage test: the equipment can output 0 ~ 15kV DC voltage, can be used for cable DC voltage test.
2, burn through the fault point: burn through and reduce the resistance of high resistance and flashover type fault point.
3, fault positioning: The use of bridge principle for positioning, four-end resistance measurement method to avoid the introduction of lead resistance error.
